“The Shakespeare Killer is a new mystery from Douglas J. Wood featuring Special Agent Chris DiMeglio. This case is particularly sadistic and soon DeMiglio starts receiving texts referencing Shakespearean characters and a clear motive to "kill all the lawyers." With the lives of so many at stake, DiMeglio is forced to play a heart-pounding, cat and mouse game to find the culprit and stop the killing.”

- Douglas J. Wood

The first victim is Jacob Schneider- a prominent criminal defense attorney. His death is ruled a suicide by authorities, just like all the other defense attorneys who have died recently. However, when Special Agent Chris DiMeglio gets on the case, he receives a tip from a local reporter who suspects these deaths are connected. Between the victim profiles, the suicide notes, and the unusual methods of death, it soon becomes obvious the FBI has yet another serial killer on their hands.

"[A]n ingenious plot and a trick ending straight out of Agatha Christie.""

Ben Steelman, Star News (NC)

"Wood…has a skill for tension, constructing powerful yet simple sentences which build the atmosphere whilst delivering snippets of knowledge, and compelling dialogue that raises the hairs on his readers’ arms."

"Wood delivers an entertaining account of his adventures in media and entertainment law, where, he writes, he had to be tough but fair: 'Maybe to some I was acting like an asshole attorney, but it felt right."

"An absorbing, reality-based tale with shades of Sci-Fi."

"A determined, flawed heroine accentuates the knowledgeable portrayal of human behavior in the near-perfect plot of this political novel."

"A gripping read for political junkies of all partisan inclinations."

"A sharp tale of government and terrorism fortified by an exceptional POTUS protagonist."

2018 IPA Winner, Political Thriller

"Wood’s counsel…not only makes for enjoyable reading, but it also holds universal truths to which most parents can relate."

"Mr. Wood gives advertising executives the knowledge and know-how they need…a valuable resource."

DAN JAFFE, Executive Vice President, Government Relations, Association of National Advertisers
